Jazz on the Patio is back for a third season! Join us on the Courtyard Patio at the Barn at Paradise Station for fresh food, drinks and the best live jazz music around.
Jazz on the Patio runs weekly on Thursday evenings May 28 through August 27. No Jazz on Thursday, July 2. Join us on Friday, July 3 for our annual Celebrate America concert and fireworks!
The Barn Bistro will open at 6PM for meal service and seating. Music starts at 6:30 and goes until 8:30, unless otherwise noted. A specialty menu that changes weekly, wine, beer, and specialty drinks available for purchase. No BYOB or outside food.
Casual dress. No cover. Free parking.
RESERVATIONS are strongly encouraged as our Patio fills up quickly, but is not required. Call 717-687-5000 option 3. Please note that there is limited shade on our Patio and we can not always accommodate requests for special seating.
You are also welcome to bring a lawn chair and sit on our lawn on the other side of the Patio to enjoy the music (no food or beverage service, but you’re welcome to visit our Barn Bistro for drinks. No BYOB or outside food, please.)
This Week: The Fred Hughes Trio
Originating in the jazz clubs of Washington, DC, the Fred Hughes Trio has been performing, recording, and presenting clinics and workshops since 1989 and brings over four decades of musical experience to the stage. With Fred Hughes on piano, the group has included bassists Tom Williams, Steve Zerlin, Max Murray, Jeff Lopez, Keith Mohler, Amy Shook and Paul Langosch. Drummers have included Keith Killgo, Keith MacMichael, Jay Williams, Eric Valentine and Frank Russo. A sampling of the groups performing credentials includes the Elkhart, Rehoboth, Cape May, East Coast, Clifford Brown and Mid-Atlantic Jazz Festivals, the 1996 Summer Olympics and tours to the Republic of Korea in 2001 and 2002. The Trio has performed with such artists as Claudio Roditi, Jon Fedchock, Warren Vache and Larry Coryell and the group’s recordings include Out Of The Blue (1996), Live! (1998), No Turning Back (2001), New Day Dawning (2006), In The Mist (2012), Love Letters (2015), I'll Be Home For Christmas (2015), Matrix (2016) as well as the DVD, In Concert (2002), released in the Republic of Korea. The current trio includes Steve Meashey on bass and Dan Monaghan on drums.
