ABOUT THE WAVE QUARTET

Due to the band’s love of SMOOTH JAZZ, the name “Wave” was derived from the thought of sitting on the West Coast and watching the “waves” while listening to smooth jazz.

Bassist John Christopher’s immense love for music especially smooth jazz decided to enlist the help of his good friend guitarist Roger Harris to put a group together. They decided to enlist the help of their friend, drummer Craig Rankin, and John’s childhood friend, Saxophonist Rich Ranaglia, and the players were in place.

All of the players work in other ensembles and this particular group was made from a labor of love.
